My name is Ömer Faruk. For seven years I've worked across data, AI, and product engineering — building systems for global enterprises and software of my own, with the same care in both.
I’m currently available for consulting engagements.
After graduating with a degree in data science and economics, I spent several years delivering analytics across multiple projects, grounded in a strong data science foundation. Over time, I grew more drawn to data engineering and product building than pure analytics, and today I focus on turning data into actionable insights that drive measurable impact.
Data Platforms
For over six years I've built the systems that move and shape data inside organizations — cloud warehouses, ETL pipelines, and governance layers that turn fragmented information into something teams can actually act on.
Applied AI
I ship production AI systems: enterprise RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and forecasting models. The interesting work happens at the boundary — where a research-grade idea has to become software that survives real users and real load.
Product Engineering
I build software products end to end, from architecture down to the small interactions that decide whether an app feels alive. The work I'm drawn to favors depth over speed — fewer applications, each refined with the patience of a craftsman, designed to feel considered rather than rushed.
Today, I work across two worlds — consulting on data and AI for enterprises navigating large-scale transformation, and building software products on my own terms. What ties them together is a single instinct: that systems and applications, like any well-made thing, take their character from the patience of the person who makes them. A new iOS application I've been refining over the past year — bringing classical astrology into a quiet, modern interface — is preparing for release in the coming months.
Three independent projects, each in its own domain. AutoData is a tooling platform for analysts working with messy enterprise data. Kozmik Atlas brings classical astrology and local astronomical computation into a quiet iOS interface. Sprout is a companion for parents tracking the small milestones of early childhood. Different audiences, the same instinct underneath — building things slowly, with care.
